Bio

Clarissa is an associate professor at the Department of Architecture and Urbanism and Design (DAUD) of the Technology Center of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) . She is co-founder of the research network Young Researchers for Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry (YR4AECI). She was a post-doctoral researcher on Lean Design Management and BIM at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) by the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGECiv), and by NUPRE (Center for Research in Rationalization and Performance of Buildings). At the same institution, Clarissa was a substitute professor at the Department of Civil Engineering (DECiv) from August 2019 to August 2021. Clarissa developed her PhD thesis at the University of Huddersfield, UK, with a full PhD scholarship from CNPq through the Science without Borders Program (2019). She has a master's degree in Construction Management and Economics from the Núcleo Orientado para a Inovação da Edificação (NORIE) of the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering at UFRGS, grade 7 CAPES (2012). Developed a dissertation applying BIM 4D in production management. He has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (2009). His area of interest is the integration of design process management, off-site production and construction using Lean Construction as a production philosophy, as well as location-based schedules tools.
