Bio

Mylene Melo is an adjunct professor in the Civil Engineering Course at the Federal University of Ceará, Russas Campus and Researcher of the Research Group in Rehabilitation and Durability of Buildings - GPREB). She has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Fortaleza (1990), specialization in Building Installation Projects (2006) from the University of Fortaleza, Master in Civil Engineering - Structures and Civil Construction from the Federal University of Ceará (2014), in the concentration area of Civil Construction and PhD in Construction Engineering (2018) from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC, Barcelona-España). Since 2021 he is a member of the Technical and Scientific Committee of the Journal of Urban Technology and Sustainability. He has research experience in the areas of reinforcement in reinforced concrete and durability of steel fiber reinforced concrete. He has professional experience in the area of civil construction: building construction, building maintenance and building installation projects.
